Hi Sarah…It’s been a couple of years (2-12-05) since you sent me the nicest email because I’d left a comment on your web site and you weren’t aware of it. Wow! have you ever come a long way since then:) I’ve remained a fan and just happened to be doing a marathon book shopping spree on November 1st and since “Caine’s Reckoning” was on my list…. I was already way over budget but there was no way I could walk out of the store without your new book. I’m looking forward to the great read I know it will be. All the best….Nancy

Cyndi- It’s not that long.
Only 9 months. You can set your anticipation to that schedule. Right now, SPICE is looking to release the Hell’s Eight books every 9 months. But starting next year, there will be other books of mine in between to take the edge off. We all just have to get to next year.

Nancy-
How are you?! It’s really good to hear from you and thanks so much for giving Caine a try. I have traveled a bit, haven’t I?
It’s been a surprising journey, but a lot of fun. Caine’s release marks my first step into the much bigger NY publishing scene.
It’s sink or swim time for the author.

Sarah…I’m fine, retired and reading way too much but after so many years of working I feel entitled to indulge in my drug of choice. Blush away dear Sarah but I believe that your fan base is large enough and supportive enough that you won’t sink. I’ll certainly do my part to support your work. If you like feedback on your books, I’ll offer mine for consideration after I get Caine read. Hugs….Nancy

I was walking passed my bookstore and seen Caine’s Reckoning! I knew that I wouldn’t be able to walk passed without stopping, but now I just had an excuse.
Starting reading it that night, and let me say,
.! I couldn’t put it down. I had tears, smiles, and someetimes a mix of both. Caine and Desi wrung ever emotion from me. Thank you so much and I look forward to theo next Hell’s Eight! Especially Shadow!

Samantha,
So good to see you here. Hmm, I think you’re the first Shadow fan! I think he’s going to be an intriguing character, but right now he’s staying in the⦠shadows.

Sarah…You can stop sweating [as if];) I read Caine’s Reckoning almost immediately after posting my last note and I loved it. Other than what I felt were a few inconsistencies in Desi’s behavior I was captivated and read it straight through. I thought Caine was a super slurpy alpha, loved the dog, Boone, and laughed out loud over Desi’s (and Boone’s) encounters with the rooster, Cantankerous. God it was funny. I love it when an author can incorporate humor with character depth and wrap it in a hot story. I’m looking forward to reading “Sam’s Creed” in April 2008 and all the rest of Hell’s Eight’s characters as they’re published. Keep up the great work! Hugs….Nancy

O. M. G. I loved Caine’s Reckoning! I downloaded it and read it on my palm pilot and let me tell you… The darned thing was smokin! I can’t wait to read the next in the series. I’ve been waiting and waiting for more stuff from you since I stumbled upon your Promises series and you haven’t disappointed yet.

Hello Sarah,
This is the first time I read a book that you wrote. I have added you to my “favorite author” list: Lori Foster, Nora Roberts, Jane A Krentz, Iris Johansen and you. Your writing is spicy, riveting and humorous. I will be looking forward to your next Hells Eight book. By the way when do we get the story about Desi’s twin?
Keep up the good work.
